About Me

My work centres on helping people reconnect with themselves – their voice, their imagination, their inner compass – so they can move into the future with greater clarity, courage and creative energy.

Before setting up Story Road, I spent over 25 years in advertising and research as a strategist and insight consultant working with senior leaders and creative teams to shift perspectives, spark imaginative thinking and develop new ideas.

I’ve been supporting people in this way since my early twenties, first as a trained volunteer counsellor and later through coaching, mentoring and facilitation across many different sectors.

In 2022, I formalised my practice with a Postgraduate Certificate in Business & Personal Coaching (Barefoot Coaching / University of Chester) and became an ICF-accredited coach.
I’m currently studying for a Certificate in Arts Therapies and Wellbeing at the University of Hertfordshire, deepening the creative and embodied aspects of my work.

Alongside coaching, I’m an award-winning writer in fiction, drama and performance poetry. Creativity has been central to my life, both for its expressive and its healing powers, and it sits at the heart of how I work with others today.

Whether you’re navigating a transition, reviving your creative practice, or simply seeking more integration between the different parts of your life, I will listen, reflect, question and support you as you find the next version of your story.
