Coaching for clarity, career transitions and creative direction
Many people come to coaching at a moment of professional change.
You might be facing redundancy, questioning the direction of your career, considering a new path, or trying to make sense of a transition that has already begun.
Coaching creates a space to think clearly about what matters now, and to make thoughtful choices about what comes next.
Many clients arrive knowing what’s wrong but not what they want instead. This is far more common – and more human – than you might realise.
Rather than rushing to set goals, we begin by making space for the truth and that is: you don’t have to know yet.
Together, we create a supportive environment where you can:
- Explore possibilities without committing prematurely
- Experiment with ideas to see what resonates
- Reconnect with inner signals of “yes”, “no” or “not yet”
- Find direction through curiosity rather than pressure
- Become more confident in how you want to be living, working, relating and creating
This way of working helps people step into change in a way that feels authentic, embodied and sustainable.
Beyond goal-setting: coaching as an ongoing process of change
Traditional coaching models often focus on a linear path of quick wins:
set a goal → achieve it → end the programme.
But real life, and real change, rarely works like that.
My approach is informed by established, well-researched psychological models of change which recognise that:
- Transformation happens over time
- People need support beyond the initial breakthrough
- Progress isn’t linear
- Revisiting coaching at different life stages is both normal and healthy
Clients often return after a few months or years, not because the coaching “didn’t work”, but because they’ve grown – and are ready for the next layer of change.
While you may begin with a short series of sessions, I hold the door open for longer-term support if and when it feels right for you.
How we work together
Coaching sessions take place online or in person (subject to availability).
Most people work with me over several months, allowing space for refection, experimentation and integration.
Our sessions typically include:
- Deep listening and reflective dialogue
- Attuned exploration of possibilities
- Gentle challenge to untangle old patterns
- Tools from coaching, narrative practice and expressive arts
- Support between sessions as agreed
You don’t have to identify as creative, or use creative methods for this work to be transformative. Everything begins with you: what you need, how you think, what feels true. I’m not here to shepherd you through a fixed model or process. We begin with where you are and work together from there.
Fees
After an initial conversation to understand your goals and needs, we agree a coaching package that suits you.
I also hold a limited number of reduced-fee places for people facing financial barriers. There is also information about funding on my FAQs page
